with the teaching, demonstrations, and give personal application examples. They role model what is possible when high-risk youth are empowered.

Manuals
- Specifically designed to be used with adult or adolescent video series
- Reading level is 6th grade, 3rd grade with facilitator-assisted instructions
- Available in Spanish
Facilitator Manual
- 100+ pages of instructions, plus the 121 pages of the Participant Manual
- Step-by-step instructional style, which includes specific "Stop the Video" discussion points
- 60 optional exercises, in addition to the participant manual
- Designed to ensure an interactive delivery style that uses multi-learning styles

Training
Training is designed to prepare staff to deliver the curriculum and to reinforce the curriculum through guided practice and support. Training goals include:
To learn foundation concepts and interactive facilitation skills
To apply these concepts to specific risk factors
To learn skills-building processes for change
To learn specific facilitation, implementation, and application strategies
To develop the core of an Empowerment Team skilled in the use of the KIV ToolBox
Training Services:
